8.725MW/20MWh BESS
The 8.625MW/20MWh energy storage system consists of five 1.725MW/4MWh energy storage subsystems. The energy storage subsystem adopts a non walk-in container design scheme, consisting of one battery container and one PCS. The battery container adopts an integrated 20 foot container to deploy BMS, lithium-ion battery system, fire protection system, thermal management system, etc.

BMS function
(1) High precision monitoring function for battery analog quantity
At the BMU level, real-time detection of single-mode group voltage. BCMU detects battery cluster charging and discharging current, system total voltage/insulation, etc.
(2) SOC estimation
Basic SOC estimation is achieved through current integration.
(3) Battery system alarm and protection function
When analog quantities such as voltage, current, and temperature in the battery
system exceed the safety protection threshold, fault isolation is carried out, the
problematic battery cluster is shut down, and protection information is reported and displayed locally.

The use of passive balancing strategy can effectively maintain the consistency of the battery pack.

Provide local modification of various operational parameters of the battery management system.
(7) Fault operation mode
When there is a partial battery failure in the system and it is necessary to disassemble the
battery for maintenance, the low-voltage power supply of the faulty battery pack high-voltage box can be turned off, and the system can be powered on again. The system self checks and
enters the fault operation mode, limiting the current through power limitation. It can ensure that when some parts need maintenance, the system will not be unable to operate for a long time due to battery repair.

Fire Protection system
The battery container is equipped with fire-fighting equipment, which consists of smoke sensors, sound and light alarms,combustible gas alarms, perfluorohexane fire extinguishing agents, automatic fire alarm controllers, and manual fire control panels. Install sound and light alarmsoutside the cabin.
Fire Protection system
(1) Automatic control
Under normal conditions, the fire protection system is in automatic control mode. When a fire occurs in the battery compartment, the fire detector sends out a fire alarm signal, and the fire alarm controller sends out sound and light alarm signals, as well as a linkage command (to shut down auxiliary equipment such as liquid cooling units). After a delay, the fire extinguishing command is issued, and the alarm host outputs the fire extinguishing signal to drive the container valve electromagnetic starter, open the container valve on the fire extinguishing agent storage bottle, and release the fire extinguishing agent to extinguish the fire.
(2) Manual control
When someone is working near the battery compartment, the control mode of the fire alarm controller is selected as manual control, and the fire protection system is in manual control mode. If a fire occurs, press the start button to activate the fire extinguishing device according to the automatic program to extinguish the fire. Emergency start devices can also be used to release fire extinguishing agents after a delay to extinguish the fire, provided that all personnel have been confirmed to have evacuated. When a fire alarm occurs and it is found within the delay time that the fire extinguishing system does not need to be activated for extinguishing the fire, theemergency stop device can be used to terminate the extinguishing procedure.
Thermal Management System
To ensure that the liquid cooling machine can evenly dissipate heat to each battery module, a dedicated heat dissipation pipeline is setup for each cluster of batteries. The heat of the battery modules is conducted and dissipated through
the cooling liquid at the bottom of the PACK, ensuring temperature balance inside the PACK.

Real time data: display PCS BMS, Monitoring data of energy
meters, air conditioners, etc;
Operating parameters: Set the operating mode and operating parameters
Alarm management: including functions such as current alarm query, historical alarm query, and operation record;
Operating curve: including the operating curve of the system and recorded historical data;
Equipment debugging: manual function, manual control of system operation and parameters;
System configuration: Set parameters such as the rated power and charging/discharging power limits of the system, as well as functions
such as modifying user level passwords.
