Product Description

Outline of the programme
The system is composed of one set of one 1.5MW/3.6MWH energy storage system, one set of 1MW photovoltaic power generation system, one set of EMS microgrid control system and one set of AC distribution cabinet.
System configuration
The energy storage system of this scheme is configured as1.5MW/3.6MWH and the DC system adopts a container integrated air cooling design scheme.
The project has a total installed capacity of 1500kW/3617kWH and consists of three 0.5MW/1.205MWh energy storage systems. The DC system adopts a centralized container design scheme, and the 0.5MW/1.205MWh energy storage system includes 5 of 241kWH battery cabinets, one set of 5 to 1 combiner cabinet, one set of 500kW MPS cabinet, and one 500kVA isolation transformer.
This solution uses a 3.2V/314Ah LFP battery with a single power of 1.0048kWh. It has the characteristics of safety and reliability, high system efficiency and long cycle life. Each Battery pack consists of 16 units of 3.2V/314Ah cells, the battery pack specification is 51.2V/314Ah, and the power is 16.0768kWh. Each battery cluster is composed of 15 subracks in series and 1 high-voltage box, the battery cluster specification is 768V/314Ah, and the power of a single cabinet is 241.152kWh.

The energy storage system consists of a battery system, a battery management system (BMS), an energy storage inverter (PCS), an energy management system (EMS), and a step-up transformer.

Battery system
The energy storage battery equipment adopts a modular design, including battery cells-battery modules-battery clusters-battery systems, with clear hierarchies, clear structures and perfect functions, including perfect battery cluster frames, battery management systems (BMS), temperature control systems, lighting systems, fire detection and automatic fire extinguishing systems, security systems, emergency systems, etc.

PCS system
The energy storage system adopts a 500kW bidirectional converter (with isolation transformer + STS quick transfer switch), which has the basic characteristics of bidirectional inversion, and has a series of special properties and functions, which can realize the charging and discharging functions of the battery system in different applications. The energy storage PCS can be operated automatically, with a high degree of visualization of the operating status, with a display screen as a man-machine interface, and the real-time operation data, real-time fault data, historical fault data, etc. can be clearly displayed through the touch screen or button operation.

Battery Management System (BMS).
The battery management system is a real-time monitoring system composed of electronic circuit equipment, which effectively monitors the battery voltage, battery current, battery cluster insulation state, battery SOC, battery module and cell status (voltage, current, temperature, SOC, etc.), conducts safety management on the charging and discharging process of battery clusters, alarms and emergency protection treatment for possible faults, and carries out safety and optimization control over the operation of battery modules and battery clusters to ensure the safe, reliable and stable operation of the battery.

Energy Management System (EMS)
The energy management system (EMS) is an important part of the energy storage system, which implements full digital control, which can view the operation status of the energy storage bidirectional converter PCS, battery management system BMS, environment, load, etc., and can carry out data collection and analysis, centralized monitoring, real-time control, intelligent operation and maintenance of the energy storage system, etc., to provide guarantee for the safe, stable and efficient operation of the energy storage system.
The system adopts a three-layer architecture, which is layered from the real-time layer, the data layer, and the verification layer.

The automatic control and manual control methods of the fire protection system are as follows:
(1) Automatic control
Under normal conditions, the fire protection system is in an automatic control state. When a fire occurs in the battery compartment, the fire detector sends out a fire alarm signal, and the fire alarm controller sends out an audible and light alarm signal, and at the same time sends a linkage command(Turn off air conditioners, fans and other ventilation equipment), issue a fire extinguishing instruction after a delay (at this time, the cabin personnel quickly evacuate), and the alarm host outputs a fire extinguishing signal to drive the container valve solenoid starter, open the container valve on the fire extinguishing agent storage bottle, and release perfluorohexanone to extinguish the fire.
(2) Manual control
When someone is working in the battery compartment, the control mode of the fire alarm controller is manual control, and the fire protection system is in the state of manual control. In the event of a fire, press the start button to activate the fire extinguishing device according to the automatic program. In the case of confirming that all personnel are evacuated, an emergency start device can be used to release the extinguishing agent after the delay to extinguish the fire. In the event of a fire alarm, if it is found that the fire extinguishing system does not need to be activated to extinguish the fire within the delay time, an emergency stop device can be used to terminate the fire extinguishing procedure.
